1. Unofficial app
Fantom Set List Buddy is an independent companion for Fantom users. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or supported by Roland Corporation.
2. Trademarks
Roland®, Fantom®, Fantom 6 / 7 / 8 (including EX), and Fantom 06 / 07 / 08 are trademarks of Roland Corporation. All other trademarks belong to their owners. Use of those names is for identification only.
3. Your use is at your own risk
This app edits set lists (Scene Chains) from a backup you provide and can export a new backup folder for USB UTILITY → RESTORE on your instrument.
Exporting or restoring may deliver an incomplete or inconsistent dataset to your Roland Fantom compared with the backup you started from (for example set lists that no longer match scenes, samples, or other user data on the keyboard).
You alone decide whether to restore that folder (or any exported files) onto your Roland Fantom. Before Restore, you must keep a known-good Fantom backup that can restore the instrument’s complete functionality to the state you had before applying any changes from this app.
You accept full responsibility for any loss of data, tones, samples, scenes, set lists, settings, downtime, or other damage to your instrument, USB media, or computer that may result from using this app or restoring its output.
The developer provides the app “as is,” without warranties, and is not liable for such outcomes.
4. Privacy: no account, no our servers
Core editing runs on your device. We do not require an account, and we do not upload your backups, set lists, or scene data to servers operated by us. Local copies stay on your device and in folders you choose. See the Privacy Policy.
5. Your content
You are responsible for rights to any backup or text list you import or share.
6. Acceptance
By tapping Agree in the app, you confirm that you have read and accept these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
